It did for me, even though I was kindled.  I'm almost 11 months out now, and anxiety is much better.

I previously recovered after "kindling".

But really... Forget about words like kindling. They're thrown about on forums like this and cause a lot of fear. It's not helpful.

Taper in a slow, steady and sensitive way. And develop a belief that you will heal. This is the healthiest view.

I agree with Mr. eggplant. Terms like Kindling and Tolerance cause a lot of people to freak out. Yes you will heal. Yes the anxiety will get better. It may take some time , this is the nature of Benzo withdrawal. Read some success stories. Many people who were "kindled" have recovered beautifully.

Ashton says  people who are trying to get off Benzos a second or third time can be just as successful as first timers.
