Symptoms during taper

I know not everyone experiences ill effects during their taper. But is it fairly normal to have withdrawal symptoms during your taper? It is tough right? I think iv hit such bad tolerance that I have symptoms even while on these drugs. Busy tapering off slowly but definitely struggling on a daily basis with anxiety, some dizziness, inability to stand still, pacing etc. Tell me this is to be expected. I cant updose as I seem to have kindled. Im on 15mg urbanol, cannot switch to valium as I motabolise it too quickly, it doesnt work for me. Any advice? Do I fast taper off and suffer the consequences, or battle through this painful slow taper? Any advice appreciated.
