I try to eat low-histamine and low-processed foods.

I've not been super strict, but avoiding tomatoes, citrus, and peppers. I've introduced onions and as long as they're heavily cooked I seem to be fine.

I'm not gluten free because gluten doesn't seem to be something I'm responsive to, but I've been tested.

I get really bad heartburn and acid reflux as well as muscle and joint aches if I eat too much 'off plan'.

I eat natural whole foods diet, meaning no processed foods whatsoever, no refined sugar, no dairy, caffeine, or alcohol.  I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, quality protein from eggs, fish, chicken, and beef, and plenty of healthy omega 3 fatty acids (i.e. olive oil, coconut oil, avocados, nuts/seeds).  I also make sure I get enough antioxidants, mainly from blueberries, blackberries, dark chocolate/low sugar, and black olives.  I also drink plenty of water daily.
