For how long have you been on benzo's and what has been your highest dose?

I was taking 1 mg. of Ativan sporadically for 11 months, then switched to .5 mg. Klonopin for 8 months to taper, so about 19 months total. I should have tapered 1 mg. of Klonopin, but I was too impatient. I also had major hospitalization from another drug I was taking before that, and my body was a wreck. I believe that's why I'm having a difficult time today.
