Are All My Doctors Wrong?

After CTing off a nasty anti depressant, I ended up in the psych ward. In that time I saw two doctors and a whole handful of nurses. None of them expressed issue with my taper of 25% reduction week to week. I’ve gone from .5/.5 at 8 AM and PM to .25/5 at those same times. This coming Wednesday I will switch to .25/.25 on their orders. They’ve said that it’s ok to pill split (my jump off point will come in March after a week of .125 once a day. I know there seems to be a distrust of medical professionals here (for good reason) but is it ok to believe them on this? Or should I be pushing for something different? Physically my chest has been tight but not much else. The anxiety has been the the worst part. What do you guys think?
