I need a better scale, really good one, anyone done that is willing to let go??

A daily taper does NOT need to be "accurate".  As long as you follow the same procedure, with the same equipment, everyday, and gradually lower your dose, you'll be OK.

Your pills aren't "accurate" tp begin with.  They typically vary as much as 10% from tablet to tablet.

Make sure you're using your scale on a solid, level surface away from wind drafts.  Don't breath on the scale when you use it.  No vibrations on the table that the scale is sitting on.  Don't lean on the table when you use the scale.  The scale should be accurate and reproducible enough for a benzo taper.  Yeah, there are better balances, but you'll pay at least 10 times more to get one.  Builder's correct that minor variations don't matter.

(might also want to fix your signature.  Looks like it got cut-off.  You're limited on the length of your signature, so you have to be very concise.)
