Help. Rapid detox diazepam

I came down much too quickly from 20mg (or more, I'm not sure and am so muddled my signature isn't correct)  to 10 mg diazepam which I have been on for three weeks.

Obviously I feel awful.  Presumably updosing isn't the answer but will my body/brain ever adjust to being on 10mg?

  I need to get off the 10 mg but if I ever feel better on the 10mg I will go much more slowly.

Tapering 50% of your dose in a year isn't so excessive, but if you're doing your taper in 5 mg steps, I'd suggest maybe doing smaller cuts in the future.  Cuts that large are awfully hard on your poor nervous system.  I expect that your body will adjust, but it will take time.
