Is anyone trying to taper ativan only. Scared.

I'm tapering ativan and I notice most these post are re: crossover to a longer acting benzo to hekp with comfort,  but when I go to withdrawal blogs I see so many struggling to get off klonopin or valium. My doctor wants me to switch to klonopin but I'm scared.  Had anyone ever known of anyone being able to get off ativan only. Does klonopin really make it easier

I don't know about klonopin but I know weaning off Ativan is really difficult, interdose withdrawals are really bad.

I’m taking CBD oil to help with the anxiety symptoms. Most of the time it helps but I’m still trying to find what dosage works best for me.
