Sept. 15-17, 2017: The International Benzodiazepine Symposium

Did anyone hear anything about this symposium? I just came across this information now when looking up Dr. Anna Lembke. It seems that she took part in this, along with journalist/author Robert Whitaker and quite a few others, whose names I don't recognize. Are other BBs familiar with the participating health professionals?

How in the world did we miss this, Lapis? I don't understand it. There was nothing that I saw on BB about it. I'm baffled. I wish there was a way to get an audio of it! Thank you for posting this!

Jocelyn Henderson Peterson went and spoke from a survivors perspective. Bob Whitaker was also there. Contact Jocelyn through YouTube: her name is benzo brains. She’s also on FB. To my knowledge no one took video. There are some comments about it on Jocelyn’s Facebook page I’m sure you can go read. They are public posts.

Yes, too bad! I wrote to them, asking if there was a video, but I guess there isn't. Such a shame!!
