[Li...]
I have been trying to eat low sugar but last night I had quite a lot of sugar. I feel really bad today. Can anyone relate? Thanks Liz
[Bu...]
Yes, if I eat too much sugar or something sugary by itself, it triggers my wd symptoms and messes with my blood sugar levels.
[Ol...]
I was just at my doctor yesterday and she told me that sugar makes anxiety symptoms worse.
[ml...]
Yep...gotta keep sugar to small amounts and a treat only occasionally. It's been like that for over 2 years, since WD. My body just doesn't process it so well. I suppose that's a good thing, cause my sweet tooth needed to go!

[gi...]
For me, I've found that a little sugar (unrefined) in moderation is ok, again, the key word being moderation. I think we should have a balanced diet, otherwise we feel deprived. The body is extremely efficient while on a balanced diet, and that includes a little bit of sugar (unrefined).
