Gabapentin, a new problem drug ?

Gabapentin was only mildly beneficial for me at 300mg.  I took it for about 6 months post withdrawal For Sleep.    I had 2 weeks of bad withdrawal symptoms despite a month of tapering down when I stopped.  I've been through opiate withdrawal, and this was almost as intense, No Joke.  The Ones Abusing This Have No Idea What Is In Store For Them.

Then you read stuff like this link!

After they claim Gabapentin IS NOT addictive they list a host of withdrawal symptoms!

All these "brain meds" have some sort of "discontinuation syndrome." Call it dependency if you want.

 

And the "discontinuation syndrome" is just another phrase for withdrawl syndrome.

 

Anything that affects the brain like these drugs do, can alter its functioning.

 

Some people have no problem stopping them while others struggle.
