Pharmac. Journal: Benzodiazepine withdrawal at a pharmacy technician-led clinic

The initiative described in this UK pharmacy journal article looks excellent. It's interesting to note, however, that many patients who were offered help to reduce their benzodiazepine intake chose to decline the offer. Those who did take part in the program were largely successful, but it's sad to think of how many people preferred to remain on benzodiazepines. Many BBs would appreciate this type of support, which included the offer of necessary prescriptions and the option to cross over to diazepam.
