Hi All!
My taper has been up and down like most. Since October my symptoms have increased (anxiety, inner trembling, insomnia & depression) within a day after a cut but seem to clam down about 5 days after a cut.
Having felt better (not good but back to where I was) I continued down. This January when I crossed into .5mg K my insomnia (previously helped with sleep aids) became more problematic. At .25mg K I had my first significant bout of depression ( bad thoughts, bad dreams, thoughts of death). The depression has lessened (thank God).
**************The anxiety, inner trembling & insomnia have increased!**************
My question of those who have experienced or seen other members with these symptoms are:
1. Are these just normal benzo withdrawl that every one must go through and I should just continue dropping and tough it out?
2. Should I up dose to get relief (if so how much?) then continue to taper down slower?
Thanks for your thoughts & suggestions on how you think I might best continue with my taper!

Explains alot of this, here is a link incase you have not read it: http://www.benzo.org.uk/manual/2. No, IMO, I would not up dose. I may hold for a little longer before making another cut...good job on how far you have come Just Breathe

Just Breathe
Thanks for the link, feedback & support!
I do feel like just staying the course will lead to quicker healing as opposed to up dosing. I guess the up does might give me temporary relief but I will just have to travel the same road again.
I will hold for 2-3 weeks at the current dose and then I am not sure to try to go lower or just get it over with and jump.

tea kettle you have come a very long way. IMO stay the path, hold a little longer and then cut. Updosing just puts you back to where you were , with no guarantee of any symptom relief. At least not to the point where you would be symptom free. If you can tough it out since you have come this far , go for it. st

Thanks for giving you time to consider my taper issues. I do appreciate your advise and support. I had the same sleep issues last night (to bed 9,sleep about 10,awake 11:30,sleep,awake 1:30) maybe 3 1/2 hrs sleep. I see you have finished your taper! I am happy for you and hope you are doing well.
After you jumped did things get worse?
Did you have sleep problems and if so how long did it take before they got better?
Thanks

teakettle, I was oneof the lucky ones, by the time I got off the benzo's I was pretty much symptom free. My sleep has rearranged its pattern for me for some reason, but since I am retired I can adjust for it. As you can see by my posts, many are from 1 to 3 in the morning when I am wide awake. Of course part of that is due to my RLS, which I was manageing with drugs , but now I am not. My symptoms were largely pschye related, massive depression, anxiety, lack of motivation, along with loss of appetite. My shrink added in a coctail of ad's and they seem to have been instrumental in relieving at least the depression, and the rest went when the benzo's went. There is no right answer to the sleep problems, or any other symptoms for that matter. Everyone seems to have their own unique time table. Lets hope yours is more like mine. st.

Softtail:
Thanks for sharing with me your personal experience with the symptoms of withdrawl. I wish you continued healing with the wonderful success that you have had.
Your taper looks not fast and not slow but steady. It looks like you jumped at .20mg.
I feel more confident having read your encouraging coments. My plan is to hold for two weeks then make one more cut (getting hard to measure such small amounts) and then make my leap. I do look forward to being Klonopin free and healing.
Any way thanks Softtail I will hang tough with a positive view of things to come!
Thanks Teakettle
