[La...] Posted December 31, 2016 Share Posted December 31, 2016 The full title of this American study is "Interaction between Atypical Antipsychotics and the Gut Microbiome in a Bipolar Disease Cohort". There's been a lot of ongoing discussion in the news (at least, where I live) about the gut microbiome and things that can affect it, including food and medications. This study finds the following: CONCLUSIONS: These data suggest that AAP-treatment associates with specific representation of gut bacterial families in AAP-treated patients.
