Health is made by knowledge.. and money

My research continues and the more I do it the more I get sad. Everything I told my doctors the last 15 years about all my diseases was RIGHT. I was not crazy. They did not have any knowledge.

Also my body was right telling me which supplements he wanted. I didn't know why. I told my doctors that I felt better with and they rolled their eyes and said "YEAH BECAUSE YOUR SOUL NEEDS THAT". On the other hand, I told what did make me more sick. They denied. I read today why I did not tolerate so much of the medicine. Its simple chemistry. And its the knowledge about wich family herbs are, for example.

 

I just read some books about mitochondria, cellular processes, chemical processes and so on. Complicated. But I always loved that chemical stuff.

And hello: Everything that I noticed these years was normal. I was not mentally ill. All that happened to me was a normal progress.

 

I don't want to talk about all my diseases here, this is just a vent - how can they practice and don't have any knowledge?

 

But okey, I said. I am smart, I have time, - now I know what might help me.

 

But I don't have the money.

I could go to doctors and get drugs for free that would make me sick again.

 

Or win in lottery and buy the good stuff by myself.

 

I am so so sooooo angry right now.

 

 

So hugs for everyone out there searching a good doctor or therapist without having the money..

I know on your previous post I was ranting and raving about the US health care system and the fact that if you don't have money or insurance it can drive our decision and seeing a doctor. I have insurance and never go even though I have a new doctor who is good. I lost tons of faith in them when my GP prescribed me Xanax for 15 years. When I went back to him after rehab he said he would not prescribe me anything including my Blood pressure medicine.I was like thanks for fucking my whole life up and then refusing to help me at all.

 

I'm sorry that the doctors make you feel worse. I'm trying to be open minded about everything including some doctors. My psychiatrist is great, he understands what I'm going thru. I found him online after seeing a different psychiatrist who said he was an addiction specialist but is a total ass who also told me he would not prescribe me anything. And he treat me like shit during out "session". If I had never found my current psychiatrist and gotten a medical doctor tell me he treats benzo patients so he knows exactly what I'm going through. He was also a heroine addict who got clean, went to college and became a doctor and is an addiction specialist.

My psychiatrist is one of the good ones, too. He helped me a lot with the official stuff. I have seen 30 ones before him and they all were shit. But he has no knowledge besides taking antidepressants or similar stuff. That makes me angry. It is so easy to improve things with supplements and herbs and other stuff - but the only thing that is payed and prescribed ist the stuff that will kill you in the end..

Its going OK, I feel like I'm going crazy all the time. Everyday seems like groundhog day.

It amazes me all the commercials on TV for new medicines. I think the whole healthcare system is scary. We were never deficient in this drug or that drug. That's what big pharmacy wants us to think.

I'm sad that they gave me benzos for 25 yrs. And I know it damaged me. But I'm a fighter. We all are, or we wouldn't be here.

Spot on. All these spych drug commercials are ridiculous.

 

I have been on these only 3 month.

But i am destroyed.

The only revenge is to grt heathly and live well.

yeah, agreed... unfortunately money seem to rule the world, and especially nowadays. People say that happiness isn't in money, but I really think that you cannot be happy without money, especially because lately it seems that you can buy nearly anything on money - health, friends and sometimes even love. that's just not fair.  :'( you have money - you are somebody, you don't - you're nobody... that's just... so wrong.

Thats true. But that is not enough for a ruined body system as mine. I do love myself more than anyone on earth and do anything I can, I DID that.

Now I am seeing clearly what I need and cannot afford it. Its ridiculous. Its not the world amount. For a working human it would be makable. But not for one without a job. To get a job I need to be healthy. To get there, needs money.

I have come so far and finally it seems that I FINALLY know the key, that will help me. But cannot afford it. Thats cruel. Am I in a TV show???

Marigold, I am so sorry for all the difficulties you have had in your country finding the help that you need. I have read your posts about your difficulties. I can only imagine how you must be feeling. My doctor may not have known better, but he does truly care. Just please be comforted in knowing that there are still some doctors that do care, and do listen. I hope that you find the help you need soon, if it's available where you are. I truely hope so. 50k in,debt medical because of all this. Doesnt matter because they'll never see a penny of that money. Not one penny.  I had insurance and had to go to ER and was billed $34,000. Joke.  Best thing to do is work through it

that's what I am talking about. Indeed, there are things that cannot be purchased for money or they are at all free, however, in most cases - they are not enough. and what Marigold has said up there is totally true and unfortunately, I am sure she's not the only one suffering like this. there are millions out there everyday. not talking about those who cannot even afford food and they are starving daily. there are millions and I guess that even billions who're daily suffering (and I mean SUFFERING) because of lack of money, whereas others are bringing their cats and dogs to spas (and I don't have anything against cats and dogs - I do love them, but this is simply not fair). That's indeed cruel, and I do know that this feels like an endless closed circle.
