[Mo...]
Hi All, I'm new. I seen the word "kindling" used. What does it mean? Thanks, Tema Kindling due to substance withdrawal, refers to the neurological condition which results from repeated withdrawal episodes from sedative-hypnotic drugs such as alcohol or benzodiazepines. Each withdrawal leads to more severe withdrawal symptoms than the previous withdrawal syndrome. So, the second or third time around, coming off benzodiazepines , can be more challenging than the first. CAN... Be more challenging. Welcome to BB! [co...]
I believe it also applies to any medication that messes with your brain chemistry i.e. Antidepressants/Mood Stabilizers/Anti-Pychotics; in short, any psych med(s).

[Co...]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kindling_%28sedative-hypnotic_withdrawal%29 Please keep in mind that the evidence for kindling in benzodiazepine use/withdrawal is still relatively week compared to alcohol.
