cut recommendation

hello forum.

 

i got down to 1.6mg before getting symptoms and have held for 3 weeks with no improvement.

i was cutting 1ml daily and am now in the process of updosing. plan to do a long hold. any

recommendations on what the daily cut should be? I was planning on starting up at 1/2ml cut

but worried i am not going to get very far--and if not, holding, updosing, and 1/4ml seem to

be my only option.

It will be better to determine your cut after your dose correction and hold. It will be dependent on how you feel. A rule of thumb, start slow.

I have read that the recommended daily cut off from Klonopin is 0.0025 mg, but due to the many calculators that exist to convert K to Valium, I am not longer certain of the equivalences from Benzos to valium. I hope this ratio helps to you if you happen to know the factor conversion from K to V.

.0025 mg K reduction is equal to a .05 mg V reduction. That's a big cut, especially if used doing a daily taper. Start much lower, after your dose correction and hold.
