What can I use as an after shave since most of them have alcohol?

I am looking for something I can use as a substitute for aftershave with alcohol. I heard baby powder even works good after a face shave. I'm over a year out and totally been staying away from any kind of alcohol. I've noticed that barbers use baby powders. What do you think would be good? There are also some alcohol free aftershaves.

I just read an article this morning on coconut oil being good as an aftershave (among many other things.)  It's a bit oily, so just a light touch is needed and then wipe off an excess. Apparently it

has skin healing properties as well.

Hi saveme , here's a few things you may find suitable '

Nova xxx  :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Witch Hazel

Witch hazel is mostly known for its astringent properties. This means that it has the ability to tighten and tone your skin. It is also anti-microbial, meaning that it helps preventing infections by keeping cuts and other small wounds clean

Aloe vera

Aloe vera is the queen of skin soothers and healers

Glycerin

An effective humectant, which means it attracts moisture to your skin and keeps it there. It’s a good solvent, many things dissolve easier into glycerin than in water or alcohol. Diluted with water, it will soften your skin
