The full title is "Community pharmacists' role in benzodiazepine supply in Ireland: a questionnaire of pharmacists' views and experiences."

 

From the abstract, here's a key point:

 

"The findings indicate the need to revisit existing benzodiazepine guidelines to improve pharmacists' awareness of them and to address long-term prescribing."

I think pharmacists are uniquely positioned to provide information and guidance to people about their medications. I hope there's some action as a result of this study, but like many of the other studies I've read, it seems there might be "further research" before there's action.
