[sp...]
Isn't this comforting (sarcasm) ? My head is too sun baked to read the whole thing right now and determine if these meds are going to be banned in the US too (doubtful) . Seroquel, Celexa and Clonazepam are on the list. http://www.madinamerica.com/2015/01/european-medicines-agency-calls-suspending-four-common-psychiatric-drugs/
[lo...]
How scary is that!! I see venlafaxine is on the list. I am glad I am half way to getting off it. It has never caused me any problems in 14 years and so far withdrawal has not been problematic. It is good to see that action is being taken. It does seem to be a precautionary measure. It is up to individual European countries to suspend or not. It says there is no evidence of lack of effectiveness or harm from the drugs identified. [Ra...]
Thread title, along with the article at MiA, is rather misleading. The European Medicines Agency is not suggesting a 'ban' on any drugs.

[Ra...]
Yeah, it's not quite "good news" All the article is saying is that it's believed that results were falsified in order to get the meds approved for use. They're pushing to suspend use of these drugs until authenticated results can be provided. It's interesting, but doesn't cover why they really -should- be suspended.
