Personalized liquid titration with lorazepam

I spoke with my psychiatrist today by phone about getting liquid lorazepam, and while not commercially available in Canada, my pharmacy is making up a special oral solution.  It will be a 30 ml bottle.  1 ml = 1 mg, so it will be easy to down-dose in 10% increments.

 

So for those of you out there using water and winging it on your own, you may be able to ask, or have your doctor ask, your pharmacy to make you up a liquid mix tailored just for you.

Does anyone know if you can get a liquid Lorazepam solution here in the US?

I had a liquid lorazepam suspension made for me here in California. Worked quite well and allowed me to taper down to as little as 0.02mg before jumping.

This is lorazepam Intensol and is quite concentrated...2mg per ml.  But looking at the ingredients it is quite similar to the diazepam oral solution, which can be diluted with water, so this one may be able to be diluted with water also.
