Need help Ativan withdrawal- much appreciated

Hi buddies,

 

I am in need of some input to get of 1mg of Ativan. I have been taking 1 daily for 2 months now. I had read a post which said Ativan does not dissolve well in water, so I am uncertain how to titrate. I also wish to mention that I have been on 30mg Restoril for sleep (which is also a benzo) for 1 month, but am going to stay on it for now and tackle the Ativan first.

With lorazepam there are various ways to make it liquid.  Some go to a compounding pharmacy to have it made for them.  I believe there is also a prescription liquid sold.  Then, for homemade liquids what a lot of people do is first dissolve the pill with high proof alcohol then further dilute with water as needed.  Then there is always Ora Plus suspension liquid which works with all benzos.  This does not actually dissolve the benzo, but seems to make a good quality suspension.  Water and milk are poor choices for lorazepam as solubility is low and suspension is poor.
