[po...]
Can someone explain what is a cut and hold in titration?
[Om...]
The cut and hold method is where you make a cut and then stay at that dose for days/weeks until you see how you react to the new lowered dose. Then you would make your next cut and hold again. Repeat this process until you reach the desired dose or your off for good. Good luck and God Bless. If you need assistance, don't be afraid to speak up.
[po...]
Thank you for your quick response. I think I am ready to start my titration, but very nervous.
[Om...]
Don't be nervous. Pick a taper plan that you feel good about and go with it. It can always be modified at a later date.
[Di...]
Generally titration is used for daily taper, rather than periodic cut and hold taper. You can do a cut and hold taper by titration, but if you're going to go the extra distance of making a liquid titration you might as well make much smaller daily cuts, which for a lot of people lessens the withdrawal symptoms.
