[As...]
I am starting the milk titration plan for klonapin 0.5 mg 2x daily. I have 1mg tablets that I cut in half. I would like to mix both dosages in the milk solution and divide that dose. I am using a 100ml cylinder. I am planning to remove 0.5 ml from each dose daily. What I need to know is? How long does it take the klonapin to fully dissolve after crushing with mortar and pestle? How long and how many doses of the mixture can you prepare and store ahead of time? Will the klonapin stay suspended in the milk if it sits or do I need to re-stir? Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer!
[la...]
Klonopin binds to the fat in the milk which is why it is good to used whole milk. So you don't have to worry about it being mixed. I don't crush my pills, my pills dissolve well they are chalky yellow. I drop them in the milk the night before, but I have made doses in an hour or two because of mistakes and never had a problem.
