leaky gut and/or IBS anyone
« on: April 18, 2014, 05:20:58 pm »
I had H-pylori and then had SIBO last summer 2013. was treated for both with heavy antibiotics and tests showed that both infections had been eradicated

yet I still have pain every single day. GI says IBS/leaky gut

well I am going to start tapering in another week and I fear that my gut will just get worse. I have tried gluten, sugar, dairy free and I will get some relief, but never a day without pain.

today has been really bad and I have cried several times because it leaves me feeling so weak. Just wondering if anyone else has this

I have had this for 4 years now... I feel your pain... literally, every day, after every meal... feels like you're being jabbed with a knife..

Things that have helped me are:

1) Vegan diet - with ample raw veggies, soaked and cooked grains, legumes, healthy oils (coconut oil)
2) L-glutamine to help heal the gut holes
3) Some form of strong probiotic to help aid digestion

Likely you are going to feel like this throughout the taper, because pharma drugs are notorious for screwing up digestion... so no worries, you will heal from it... but I would do your best to manage until you're off.
