Face pulsates when I lay down..

If I go to take a nap or go to sleep my whole face just starts pounding like my heart is in my head.. It's really annoying, does anyone else have this? What would cause this?

I had a similar experience early in my taper. It went away, it wasn't really a pounding feeling though, more of a vibration in cheek area left side.

I had pounding in my head and face, mostly forehead… thought it was probably due to high blood pressure at the time. It was a bit alarming but it's gone, so is the high blood pressure.
