Very fatigued and depressed

I have addressed this in the past, but just for reassurance, can this extreme fatigue and depression be an effect of withdrawal from Xanax. I have not taken Xanax for about 8 weeks now. I feel weird, and am concerned this is the way I am going to be. It is very hard to be motivated to do anything and be productive. I told my Dr., and she said the effects should have worn off by now. Am I nuts or is she? I am trying to ride this out, but very tiriing and frustrating. Thanks, Mark
