Do you think you have to come right off to be kindled or just up and down?

I have been up and down on lorazapam and on diazepam but never properly off.

Also I wish we could here from more people who have taken or stopped hormones while on taper.

Thank you MP

I think the theory of kindling applies perfectly to this question, I don't feel it's a matter of your brain getting weaker.  https://www.benzoinfo.com/kindling/

Thank you

Have you any ideas why each time I make a reduction - even really small - it takes about 5 weeks to stabilise.

Meanwhile I go through some really awful symptoms and cannot function in any way normally?

My partner is saying it might not be the meds and could be hrt progesterone. I just dont know anymore....

Thank you

I'm sorry Miss piggy, I don't have any experience with progesterone.

Any ideas where I can get info Pamster? I am apprehensive about stopping in case there is kickback.

Thank you

MP

No one on the team has mentioned using progesterone.
