Taper off suggestion

Hello to everyone im new in this forum and i join to help my self to tapper off  and find support and strategies to stop xanax.

I take xanan 1.5 mg three years now ,sometimes exceed that dose one day take 2.5 mg

I try to tapper off but always failed can u suggest me some method to safe taper off , i heard about ashton method or switch to another benzo

for better result any advice will be helpfull...ty all

We can help you taper from Xanax, we typically suggest reducing your dose by about 5-10% every couple of weeks, or what ever works better is to use your symptoms to guide your taper, this can hopefully keep you functional.

Do you have enough supply to do a slow taper, it concerns me you've gone beyond your prescription at times, I hope your doctor will work with you.
