Struggling on Valium Taper - help needed

Hi all

I am really struggling to get off the valium. I have been in a dip for 4 weeks now with horrible depression and intrusive thoughts. I have other symptoms but I feel like I am trapped and do not know where to turn.

Can anyone help or advise please.

I am in an extremely similar boat to you right now. Currently at 23 mg of valium a day and was just prescribed mirtazepine. Was it helpful for you? I am scared to take it.

I was given a different antidepressant first for burnout which made me suicidal which led to the benzo. They changed the antidepressant later to mirtazapine. I think quite a few people are offered it for sleep during their taper so it is difficult to say. Sorry I am not much help.
