[le...]
I have been searching the board for advice on titration off of .25mg klonpin but most of what I am finding is for larger doses. I have been on and off of benzos since I was 18 when my dr prescribed me .25mg xanax for insomnia. I have droppped them cold turkey many times not realizing how dangerous this was. I also was bartending so I drank quite a bit. A few years ago I went to a neurologist for tinitis and she switched me to .5mg klonopin. I genreally took half at night to sleep. Lately I think I have been experiencing resistance withdrawl. I still take .25 mg of the klonopin but I have been experiencing brain fog, tremors, irritability, insomnia, inability to sit still or concentrate, headaches brainstorms, sensitivity to light and noise etc. I have been to specialists and multiple homeopaths trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I have a family, work full time and am finishing my masters degree. I would like to get off of this as smoothly as possible. It is such a small amount and the pill itself is so small I don't know what to do. I am afraid my life will fall to pieces as I am weaning myself off. Thank you for any help
[je...]
Do you want to do dry or liquid titration?
[le...]
Hi ! I bought a jewelers scale and started a dry titration reducing the amount by .001 mg per day. The scale is just a $40 one form Amazon and sometimes that last digit fluctuates a bit so I'm afraid i will never get an accurate reading. I think I would prefer to do liquid for the accuracy. It is confusing. I don't know how much vodka a to use or how much water to dilute the vodka solution with.
[je...]
Will your doctor be willing to prescribe you a compounded liquid? This will be the easiest and most reliable way to taper a liquid.
