[Co...]
Can I ask how people get the pictures onhre? Do you have to save them in Flickr or something or is there an easier way these days? Because of storage limits/cost, we do not host images ourselves. Yes, you would need to host the images yourself at another website and embed the image here. Hi, I see you can watch a live performace of Einstein on the Beach in segments on Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLirLVoOHstO5pYKp_AiWAs9ullp4ieNSl Will try and do that asap. As an alternative, I thought I'd post this link to the complete work as a single video. I also rather like the visuals. Edit: Nope. Mot a good alternative after all. The video is interrupted by adverts.

Mot a good alternative after all. The video is interrupted by adverts. Try installing Adblock Plus. It blocks most intrusive ads, and if you want to allow some ads on some particular website, you can put that website on your Adblock whitelist - meaning, you can turn Adblock off on that site. And then later, if you want, you can turn it back on. For me, YouTube would be unwatchable without it. Get Adblock Plus Here

[re...]
In 1992 at La Scala in Milan, conductor Riccardo Muti rehearses tenor Roberto Alagna and soprano Tiziana Fabbricini for a duet from Verdi's La Traviata, Parigi O Cara. I'm not really sure I like what Muti did with this, but it's still an interesting historical document. I've cued this video to skip a rather long introduction in Italian by Alessandro Baricco. But don't worry. You'll get to see him at the end. Keep in mind that the soprano's character, Violetta Valery, is dying in this scene, which is why the soprano sounds like - well, like she's dying. [re...]
Rigoletto One of my favorite operas. This is a 1982 Italian film directed by Jean-Pierre Ponnelle and starring Ingvar Wixell, Edita Gruberová and Luciano Pavarotti, with the music score conducted by Riccardo Chailly, based on the 1851 opera by Giuseppe Verdi with libretto by Francesco Maria Piave. Here's a Wikipedia article about this film. This vid was posted on YouTube in 2017, but if you find it's been taken down, try one of these instead: https://youtu.be/vYTAlEYTRpA https://youtu.be/Pcoq8NOwHX8And here's one with Spanish subtitles: https://youtu.be/GERi2vQGlTw
