Suffering

Where have I gone?

No light, no laughter, no love.

Early morning terrors awaken my injured brain,

Am I forever doomed to this nasty benzo pain?

 

 

Not doomed but I know it feels like you are, we lose our connection to ourselves and others, we live in pain and fear, no joy, only negativity.  But for as bad as this is, we can recover, like it never happened, that's how it was for me.  No setbacks, no lingering symptoms, nothing but memories that can't hurt me.  Please don't lose hope.
