I have been takin .5 clonazepam prn for about 6  years, dr suddenly changed//reducing my script to only 12 pills a month and I’m worried and interested if this is like some new rule or if others are experiencing same thing, dr has not changed and didn’t give me good explanation

Many doctors are beginning to limit benzodiazepines, some are getting out of the practice of prescribing them because pressure is starting to build for the overprescribing  of these medications.  How often do you take the clonazepam, are you going to be short this month?

 

I'm surprised your doctor didn't discuss this with you because its quite possible your body is dependent and you could face withdrawal symptoms.  Have you ever experienced uncomfortable symptoms, are you interested in tapering?
