Suggested antifungal for yeast infection

Hi all.

I did a search and found quite a few warning posts on taking Diflucan.

While it seems this was a trigger for many, and heeding that warning, was there a yeast infection antifungal medication (more of the prescribed vs OTC) that was tolerable, or at least better than Diflucan, for anyone they'd recommend?

Winnie, how were you tested for SIBO?

I have two parasites I've been battling since last fall and I think it's wreaked havoc on my digestive system but seems the only tests to determine what is going on are invasive.

Just going by symptoms.

I like you don’t really want to get much testing.

SIBO is a simple breath test with a naturopath.

But the place near me doesn’t have good COVID practices and I can’t get sick anymore.

The symptoms showed up in November after having COVID and finished my Ativan taper at the same time.

So who knows what is what. Still have the Valium to go??

Dr was going to test for parasites too.

Hope you’re able to find hope these days, I’m trying hard.
