12 weeks off Klonopin, extremely grateful

I am extremely thankful for where I am at today.

 

After 5 years of benzo use I tapered for almost a year. Hell on earth is the only real words for it.

 

I made it over 60 days off but could not get much sleep so I relapsed.

 

after a few weeks I got off again.

 

I am now at almost 90 days free of these garbage pills.

 

I would say 5/7 days are very well. A day here and there will have less sleep and more anxiety but overall its okay.

 

If you read this there is most certainly hope even when you think you are the unique person that can not heal.

 

It takes time as lame as it sounds but time off of the medication allows the brain to heal.

 

So glad to hear this update, Trtguy23! I was concerned when you jumped from .23 mg, but I'm thankful things seem to have worked out in the end.

 

I'm at .133 mg K today and still going. Hope to be off by the end of March.

Thank you for the kind words and be kind to yourself during your taper because if can get extremely frustrating at times. As long as you focus on healing you will it’s just a matter of time.

What great news Trtguy23, I think you've got it made this time and you're right about time, its the best medicine there is for getting through this.
