Does anyone know if Finasteride or Dusteride is safe post withdrawal?

I know they are both a form of steroid but I can't seem to find anything conclusively online that confirms if either of them bind to any of the GABA receptors or activate them.

 

I've become single again at an age not great to be single at I'm 42 now as I'm starting to notice my hair getting thinner and want to look my best. Unfortunately I can't use the topical DHT blocker anymore as it's alcohol based and when I've been using it I've noticed bad symptoms the next day.

 

So just wanna know if I can start taking this stuff and rest easy?

 

Eventually gonna go to Turkey for a hair transplant as they're pretty cheap now and you get excellent results but there's no point doing that if you don't protect the rest of your hair by blocking DHT

 

Be carreful with finasteride, some men get post-finasteride syndrome after discontinuation. It's not a common syndrom but it might still happen. I think transplants are a better option.
