New and having Benzo Belly

I've been on prescribed ativan for a few years and quit cold turkey for a new job.  I only take 10 to 14 pills a month 2mg.  I  started to develop diahhrea on about 15 days but I didn't have previous withdrawal issues at least nothing that I couldn't tolerate.  I now have watery diahhrea and terrible gas and bloating.  Has anyone else had this issue and if so did immodium help if u tried it..  thanks

Oh my, you sound miserable but you've got the name right, it is indeed called benzo belly and its pretty common.  I don't know if anyone has found anything to help other than time but since I didn't experience that particular symptom I can't speak to it.
