WINMK tapering

Hello WINMK,

Welcome to BenzoBuddies, we are glad you are here!  It sounds like you are in the thick of it right now with tapering and withdrawl.  I'm so sorry.  Are you tapering on your own or with the help of your doctor?  We suggest a slow taper from benzos to minimize withdrawl symptoms and to allow you to stay functional.  I've put a link to the Ashton Manual below which is a good beginning point for benzo tapering.

There are a few other links below to get you started.  Let us know if we can help you or if you have questions.  We look forward to know a bit more of your story so we can better help you.

Again, welcome,

Kate08

Thank you.

Most Japanese doctors don't know how to taper.

And doctors don't understand withdrawal symptoms.

I'm tapering by 0.01.

Due to muscle atrophy, my body became incapacitated.

I'm not sure if I can live until I'm off the drug.

thankyou

Thank you.

When I started tapering off my benzodiazepines, my muscles started to atrophy.

The thigh muscles are thin and the calves are weak.

Sorry for my poor English.

Thank you.

I'm sorry to hear this, are you able to do any light strength training to improve your situation?  Its important to keep our bodies healthy while we go through this process.

Thank you for the reply.

I did muscle training.

As a result of the training, the muscles atrophy.

I did squats.

Lost leg muscles.

I lose muscle when I exercise.

It's horrible.

Thank you.

Oh my, this is a terrible situation, are you under a doctors care, do you have someone to help you?  Have you thought about holding your taper to see if you can stabilize?

Thank you for your kindness.

There are very few doctors in Japan who are familiar with withdrawal symptoms.

I rest my muscles as much as possible.

I am tapering off my medication very slowly.

i am looking for information.

People who have muscle atrophy while tapering off like me.

Thank you. Thank you.
