Guest [wi...]
In my life, I've never felt so sad on Thanksgiving day. This has always been my most favorite holiday. This year, my wonderful family will be here. My husband is cooking and my children are excited. How I long to be able to share in their joy. I'm trying so hard to focus on the positive. My mind is on autopilot and going from one negative thought to another. I'm usually so skilled at catching my thoughts. My mind is darting to unpleasant intrusive thoughts. I know it is w/d. I wish these symptoms would just go away. Hanging in there on Thanksgiving day.
[In...]
Sorry you are experiencing this. I'm feeling much the same. Haven't truly enjoyed a holiday, birthday or other celebration in over 2 years now. Hoping to enjoy something again someday. Should taste pretty sweet.
