[Va...]
about a month or a little longer ago. I did continue on with my valium taper and am now at the amount of .25 milligram of valium...a tiny bit of it. Honestly, I am sort of dazed over this that I am on the precipice of truly being off these pills after 13 years of sometimes high dosages. I want to read some postings of people who come off and if there is a jolt to the body. I have been tapering quite slowly the more lower I get. [Co...]
Hi Valle, I'm running late, so just to say hello for now - I will reply later. I'm sure others will reply soon enough anyway. You've done great with your taper. You'll soon be benzo-free!" Take care.
[Co...]
Hi again Valle, You may be intersted in reading these two pages of stories. They actually need updating (my story is certainly out-of-date) and expanding, but they may be of some interest. http://www.benzobuddies.org/mystory/buddies http://www.benzobuddies.org/mystory/team
Guest [...]
Hi Valle, You shouldn't be persuaded to jump from a dose when you are not confident. Some people do jump from 0.25mg Valium and do well. We hear from those who don't do well. My own position is that we should taper to the amount that we were most recently cutting. If you were cutting by 0.01mg or 0.25mg Valium, that should be your last dose, 0.01mg or 0.25mg Anything more asks your body to do more than it is used to doing. People are sometimes almost ridiculed for tapering to something under 0.25mg. Yet Ashton's cuts were often 0.25 so that is consistent with what I just described. What has been your recent cutting rate? Jana
