[Re...]
This was forwarded to me from a friend who has been very supportive in my journey to get off all meds, especially the ativan. alternet.org/drugs/151166/america%27s_most_dangerous_pill The article is easily found through a google search - "American's most dangerous pill" - it's the Alternet article. It probably won't tell you anything you don't already know (sadly) but it'd be a great article to forward to someone who doesn't really understand what you are going through. [Ta...]
You know, I love that these drugs are getting vilified finally. But it usually seems to be at the expense of their victims. I seriously do not appreciate being referred to as a drug abuser. I prefer the term "accidental addict". I mean really, does following your doctors advice make someone a drug abuser? Doesn't that make the doctor a drug dealer? -Tanya
[Pe...]
I may be wrong, but I think there is already a thread started on this one called "America's Most Poisonous Pill." Forgive me if I am.
[Ma...]
This article that is referenced (http://www.alternet.org/drugs/151166/america%27s_most_dangerous_pill) is the BEST article I've read in a long time on Klonopin. I'm sharing it with everyone I know who knows I was taking the stuff and got off.
[Pe...]
Thanks for the link Matthew. I just printed it out to add to my repertoire of benzo info!
[Re...]
Tanya, I completely agree. I refused to be called a drug abuser when it wasn't MY idea to take a med, it was prescribed to me by a well established doctor, and I followed the instructions on its use to the letter. Is my husband a "drug abuser" for taking Nexium once per day for acid reflux?
