Benzos called "mood boosters" and "self-care" in this new online article today

Look at this depiction of benzos as "self-care" and "mood boosters" from Cultured magazine. Truly unbelievable and a horrible message for young people. This is on Instagram as well.

They asked the actress Jemima Kirke: "What products do you use every day that instantly improve your mood?" She said, "Movies, cigarettes, and a specific blend of antidepressants and benzos."

And people in comments asking what is the mixture of ADs. What world are we living in.

As a friend said, “ Medication spellbinding. It’s all fun and games until it isn’t anymore and your life becomes a torture chamber for years on end.”

I think she’s trying to be funny. Kinda like morons who make jokes about peoples race or disabilities. I think I found out all I need to know about this person by her answer to the first question. And also I’ve never heard of her so there’s that.

I hadn't heard of her either. Previously I started watching the show it says she's in and didn't care for it, so moved on.

Probably not a good idea to take advice on prescription drugs from a Hollywood actor.  Or any other advice for that matter.

I get it she's trying to appear hard and edgy, but she has no idea of what she's talking about.

Awesome! I prioritize self-care daily and keep discovering new ways to feel good. Next month, I'm starting a biab nail course to better take care of my nails. It's all about investing in myself and embracing activities that bring joy and improvement. Can't wait to learn and make it a part of my routine!
