Ativan Detox Hold Duration

Hello,

    Need help.  Am low down on my Ativan (0.373 mg) detox and only able to drop 0.003 mg every 2-4 weeks.  The withdrawal symptoms are numerous with anxiety being the worst.  Though about switching to Diazepam but did not get any responses. So, my question is:  When this low on detox, how long can you hold before in tolerance sets in.  I am trying to get my body back in shape and thinking of holding for months until I can feel a little better both physically and mentally.  All comments welcome!

I responded to your other post, I don’t see an upside to switching at this point.  We have many members who have held for long periods of time and they say it helps, I’m not sure when tolerance would set in, we’re all too different.

I don't think you should worry about tolerance when you are already lowering on the drug and experiencing withdrawal symptoms.
