Thank you for another great find, [...].  Although this video runs long (almost 60 minutes), viewing it is well worth the time.  Dr. Wright and the interviewer (Nicole Lamberson) discuss topics of great interest to members of our community including what doctors know/don’t know about pharmacology, the lack of evidence for the benefits vs harms of taking psychiatric medications long-term, the risks of taking any drug or supplement chronically, polypharmacy, pharmacogenetic testing, reinstating benzodiazepines after cessation, setting appropriate expectations for tapering (e.g. ‘Don’t expect a symptom-free taper.’), and kindling (Dr. Wright’s take was, ‘I don’t know if kindling is real.’).

PS The link you provided above points to the 18:42 minute mark in the video.  Here’s a link that points to the beginning:

Excellent summary, [...]. Thanks for letting me know about the mid-point start. I've now changed the link so that it's easier for people to start at the beginning. I do hope people will take the time to watch the video, since, as you pointed out, it covers so many important topics for BBs.

Well worth watching.  Presents the knowns and unknowns in the prescription drug world.  Covers some questions that are often asked in the BB forum.  Thank you for adding this.
