Taping all doses before evening dose?

I was looking at theses schedules:

They suggest tapering all doses (morning, midday, etc) before touching the evening dose. This seems counterintuitive.  I understand wanting to preserve sleep but it seems odd to leave you uncovered during the day. It also just feels unbalanced. Do people use this type of taper method?

We don't subscribe to any set dosing schedules, we leave this up to the individual and their specific lifestyle needs.  I'm happy to see the state of Oregon has guidance about benzodiazepine withdrawal, it looks like they at least acknowledge our plight.  One thing I didn't care for was the use of Carisoprodol for muscle spasms, it affects GABA and shouldn't be used during withdrawal or in recovery.
