Ativan to Klonopin?

Hey all,
Has anyone switched from Ativan to Klonopin for their taper? How did it go? Is the dosing the same? I know Klonopin has a longer half life, so I’m wondering if it’ll help. I know Valium is often used, but it doesn’t help my anxiety.

Is your doctor willing to prescribe Klonopin and is your reason for crossing because of interdose?  Klonopin users will typically dose less often than those who are on Ativan.
