Dr. Reluctant to allow mixing benzos

I am glad I switched from Ativan to Valium.  My Dr. would not allow prescriptions for both until I showed him the literature recommending this course of action and threatened to go to another Dr.

Just an FYI, you may want to reduce your cuts as you get lower. Maybe when you get down closer to 5mg (or sooner), you might try reducing your cuts to 0.5mg.

Thanks for the tip.  Do not want to fade now.  I did not mean to come on too strongly when saying "threatening"  the Dr.  I know he can live without my business, but my mere suggestion that perhaps it would be better for me not to hound him since he seemed opposed to these tried and true methods and I would go to this other clinic played on his ego I think.  Also the literature really helped as I guess Drs cannot know everything about all issues that people encounter.
