Lucky with Crossover from Ativan to Valium

Have now completed a switch from Ativan to Valium with the purpose of weaning off benzos.  Feel lucky as I went from 3.5 mgs of Ativan to 30 mgs of Valium in about 10 days which is faster than recommended.  Eliminated my day dose as the Valium lasts so long.  Still have a long way to go I know.  Hope the best for everyone out there trying to switch over.

That's great news, jackson!    Just goes to show you how everyone needs to adapt the general directions to their own situations.  You will soon be on your way to nomorebenzos land.

Good to hear that your substitution went smoothly.

Thanks everyone for the support.  I know that switching from one benzo to another is not like actually eliminating them altogether but it is a good start.

yes it's a very good start because you are on the way, I would love to say good bye to ativan ASAP.  Take care and keep us posted.
