What is the minimum time in weeks to make the switch from 3.5 mgs of Ativan to 35 mgs of Valium? This assumes things go smoothly of course with the new med. [Be...] Posted May 19, 2010 Share Posted May 19, 2010 If you make a substitution of .5mg ativan for 5mg diazepam every week, it would take 7 weeks minimum to fully crossover (3.5 divided by .5) using Ashton's protocol.
